It's a toss up between Ghost and The Princess Bride. Two totally different kinds of romance stories, but both so satisfying.
Dirty Dancing would be a choice
Even though it is so sad I would have to say THE NOTEBOOK!
I like the Julie Roberts Movie "Something to Talk About" The cast is outstanding and who doesn't like a little comedy in their romance.I also like the old Fred Astaire, Cary Grant movies too;-) ~Gail~
While You Were Sleeping
Beauty and the Beast
Arsenic and Old Lace
Somewhere In Time with Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve
Dirty Dancing does it for me
Hope Floats. I can just watch that over and over again.
I agree with Judy, Somewhre In Time with Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeves. A beautiful love story but so heartbreaking.
I have two favorites, The Notebook and A Star is Born with Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson!
My all time fav is Somewhere in Time. I saw it when I was about 14 and it impressed me deeply. Then when I met my hubby 20 years ago, we were talking about the movie, which he also loved (a romantic at heart) and he said I looked like Jane Seymour. We were married 4 months later. Julie
Pretty in Pink is a fave as well as the standby Notebook. Shell Bthe Hockeyvampiress
My favorite romantic movie is "While You Were Sleeping" with Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman!
An unusual entry here in that it has a sad ending but I love the movie entitled "My Life" starring Michael Keaton. Talk about true love....omg...awesome!Hugs,Kerri
the notebook ,hands down, the best romance
10 Things I Hate About You.
The Matchmaker (with Janeane Garofalo and David O'Hara)
I like "The Prince & Me" or "Shakespeare in Love"
