I like the Julie Roberts Movie "Something to Talk About" The cast is outstanding and who doesn't like a little comedy in their romance. I also like the old Fred Astaire, Cary Grant movies too;-) ~Gail~
My all time fav is Somewhere in Time. I saw it when I was about 14 and it impressed me deeply. Then when I met my hubby 20 years ago, we were talking about the movie, which he also loved (a romantic at heart) and he said I looked like Jane Seymour. We were married 4 months later. Julie
An unusual entry here in that it has a sad ending but I love the movie entitled "My Life" starring Michael Keaton. Talk about true love....omg...awesome!
It's a toss up between Ghost and The Princess Bride. Two totally different kinds of romance stories, but both so satisfying.
ReplyDeleteDirty Dancing would be a choice
ReplyDeleteEven though it is so sad I would have to say THE NOTEBOOK!
